My name is Angela Kayira, I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT). Many of us are drawn to the practices of yoga and meditation because we are seeking some form of change. Yoga and mindfulness based practices remind us of the wisdom held within as pathways for empowerment and transformation.
I offer public classes, yoga therapy, therapeutic groups and trainings. I am interested in joining eastern and western approaches to health and well being and specialize in mind/body approaches for trauma, anxiety and depression. The trainings I provide are designed for yoga teachers and service providers who seek to bring trauma informed perspectives into their practice.
