My name is Angela Kayira, I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT). Many of us are drawn to the practices of yoga and meditation because we are seeking some form of change. Yoga and mindfulness based practices remind us of the wisdom held within as pathways for empowerment and transformation.
I offer therapeutic yoga classes, individual sessions, groups and training. I specialize in mind/body approaches to alleviate the impacts of anxiety, depression and trauma. In addition, I facilitate trauma sensitive training designed for yoga teachers and service providers who seek to bring trauma informed perspectives into their practice.
