About Angela
I am Registered Social Worker and Crime Victim Assistance Program Approved Counsellor.
In my practice, I draw upon trauma informed perspectives as well as eastern and western approaches for improved wellness and mindful living.

I have worked in the social services sector since 1997. For the past decade, I have supported individuals who have been survivors of violence as a counsellor, crisis worker, and group facilitator for a local women's organization. As a counsellor and yoga teacher, I have completed ongoing professional development with a focus on trauma therapy and mindfulness based practices. Since 2007,I have offered yoga workshops and classes with a mental wellness focus.

As an avid student of yoga and meditation, I have completed over 1000 hours of training. I am a registered and experienced yoga teacher, RYT-500, E-RYT 200. The style of yoga I teach is influenced by alignment based traditions, therapeutic and restorative practices.
